Railway gallery at Kapurthala Science City opens for public

"After galleries for science of sports, evolution, cyber space, fun science and health, we have come up with the rail gallery at a cost of rupees one crore and ten lakh. It will be the main attraction of the Science City," he said.
Khandpur said that a diesel loco simulator has also been set up which will allow visitors to experience the wonders of Indian Railways.
"Effort has gone into making the railway gallery technologically advanced and attractive. Visitors to the gallery can enjoy the experience of train journeys with the diesel loco simulator," the DG said.
"Those inside the simulator will virtually travel through tunnels, over bridges, winding roads and mountains," he added.
Models of Japan's bullet train and Delhi metro will also be set up at the gallery, besides information on how TTs, station masters etc work.
