Rail Budget 2013: Congress MP Deepender Hooda seeks rail coach factory in Haryana
Deepender Singh Hooda requested Railways Minister to set up a new rail coach factory in Haryana and electrification of Delhi-Rewari rail line.
Hooda also requested Bansal to expedite the other pending rail projects of Haryana in the Rail Budget 2013-14.
While taking the state issues with the Railway Minister, Hooda stressed the need for expediting the work on Rohtak- Meham-Hansi rail line and EMU train between Delhi to Rohtak.
He said the Haryana Chief Minister has already offered land for the rail coach factory in the state and the setting up that project would help in economic development.
The Congress MP also sought a new inter-city train on Chandigarh-Jind-Rohtak-Jhajjar-Rewari-Jaipur route and more trains on Rohtak-Delhi routes for the state.
He also requested for inclusion of Loharu-Dadri-Jhajjar- Delhi railway line in the rail survey.
Hooda said Delhi-Amritsar Shatabdi train should make a stoppage at Panipat and Delhi-Ludhiana Shatabdi train at Jind, both of which are important cities of the state.
Bansal is scheduled to present his maiden Rail Budget on February 26.
