Photo exhibition to commemorate 160 years of Indian Railways

To commemorate 160 years of Indian Railways, Ministry of Railways will organise a photo exhibition showcasing the evolution.

BHUBANESWAR: To commemorate 160 years of Indian Railways, Ministry of Railways will organise a photo exhibition showcasing the evolution and rare moments of the railway journey.

More than 200 rare photographs of the Railways will be displayed in separate segments like - Station Architecture, Locomotives and Trains, Personalities, Carriages and Wagons and Men at Work.

These rare photographs will be exhibited by East Coast Railway (ECoR) at Railway Stadium, Mancheswar, Bhubaneswar from July 31 to August six, 2013 daily from 11 am to 5 pm. Entry to the Exhibition will be free, ECoR said in a release.

A unique model Room with actual models of trains, stations, signals & tracks will also be displayed during this period, it said.
