Pay for your rail tickets through BHIM and UPI
Railways is already in process of equipping all ticket counters with POS machines to accept payments through debit and credit cards.
The notification for the same has already been issued. "We'll now be accepting payments through BHIM app and UPI. No additional service charge would be levied on digital payments," railway official said.

Currently, more than 60% of railway ticketing booking are cashless. Indian railways wants to move less cash payment system where it is aiming to make 90% of its all passenger payments cashless.
