Namo Bharat: India’s first regional RapidX train commences operations; passengers overwhelmed

In a major success, ‘Namo Bharat’, India’s first regional RapidX train, began its operations on October 21. People were seen eagerly waiting to take a ride in India’s first RapidX train. Prime Minister Narendra Modi on October 20 inaugurated the priority section of the Delhi-Ghaziabad-Meerut RRTS Corridor at Sahibabad RapidX Station. The 17-km priority section of the Delhi-Ghaziabad-Meerut RRTS Corridor will connect Sahibabad to 'Duhai Depot' with stations at Ghaziabad, Guldhar, and Duhai on the way.
