Mumbai-Gandhinagar Vande Bharat Express timing changed: Check the latest time table here

A new halt station has been added to Vande Bharat Express train between Mumbai and Gandhinagar from January 23. As per the new schedule released by the Western Railway, the premium train will now stop at Borivali station in Mumbai. This will result in slight change of arrival and departure timing of the train.

The train will now halt at Mumbai Central, Borivali, Vapi, Surat, Vadodara, Ahmedabad and Gandhinagar.

Here are new time table of Mumbai Central – Gandhinagar Capital Vande Bharat Express (20901)

• Train will depart from Mumbai Central station at 06:00 am instead of 06:10 am.
• Train will arrive at Borivali station at 06:23 am and depart at 06:25 am.
• The train will arrive at Vapi station and depart at 7:56 am and 7:58 am.

New time table of Gandhinagar Capital - Mumbai Central Vande Bharat Express (20902)

• Train will arrive at Borivali station at 7:32 pm and depart at 7:34 pm.
• Train will arrive at Mumbai Central station at 8:25 pm instead of 8:15 pm.
• There will be no change in timings at other stations.

The Mumbai-Gandhinagar Vande Bharat Express covers the 522 km distance between Mumbai and Gandhinagar in 6 hours 15 minutes. The train runs on all days except Sunday. The fare between the two stations are Rs 1,420 for AC Chair Car and Rs 2,630 for Executive Chair Car.

The Vande Bharat train on this route was launched in September last year.

Indian Railways' Vande Bharat Express is a semi-high-speed premium class train. India’s first Vande Bharat Express was launched on New Delhi-Varanasi route on February 15, 2019 by PM Modi.

Vande Bharat Express train has 14 AC Chair Car coaches and two Executive AC Chair Car coaches with a capacity of 1,128 passengers.

They are equipped with indigenously designed, modern passenger amenities.

The Railways is planning to run 400 such trains across India, in the next three years.
