More special trains to clear festival season rush

Railways have decided to run a special train from Delhi to Kochuvelli in Kerala to clear extra rush of passengers during ongoing festival season.

NEW DELHI: Railways have decided to run a special train from the national capital to Kochuvelli in Kerala to clear extra rush of passengers during the ongoing festival season.

The Nizamuddin-Kochuvelli festival special train will leave Nizamuddin station on November 5 at 9.35 PM and reach Kochuvelli at 8.30 PM the third day.

The train will comprise one AC II-Tier, two AC III-Tier, seven Sleeper Class, one Chair Car and nine General compartments.

It will stop at Mathura, Kota, Nagda, Ratlam, Dahod, Godhra, Vadodara, Bharuch, Surat, Valsad, Vapi, Vasai Road, Panvel, Roha, Chiplun, Ratnagari, Thivim, Karmali, Madgaon, Karwar, Udipi, Mangalore Jn., Kasargod, Kanhangad, Payyanur, Kannur, Thalassery, Vadakara, Kozhikode, Tirur, Shoranur, Thrisur, Aluya, Ernakulam Town, Kottayam, Toruvalla, Chengannur, Mavelikara, Kayankulam and Quilon stations.

Besides, two special trains will be run for Ambala from Ferozpur and Ludhiana in November, said a railway release.
