Metro in Indore, Bhopal in five years: Babulal Gaur

Babulal Gaur today said that metro rail will start running in the state capital Bhopal and Indore in the next four to five years.

INDORE: Madhya Pradesh Civic Administration and Development Minister Babulal Gaur today said that metro rail will start running in the state capital Bhopal and Indore in the next four to five years.

An MOU with the German company LRTC and Rohit Associates had been signed to prepare DPR (detailed project report) on metro for Indore city within the next eight months, Gaur said.

Building a 32-km metro network in Indore would cost about Rs 7,500 crore, while a 28-km network in the state capital would cost Rs 6,000 crore, the minister said.
