Mamata inaugurates new Delhi Cantt station building

NEW DELHI: Gearing up for the forthcoming Commonwealth Games, Railway Minister Mamata Banerjee today inaugurated the new building at Delhi Cantonment station.

"The modernisation of the station is part of the ongoing work keeping the forthcoming Commonwealth Games in mind and the work was sanctioned at a total cost of Rs 5.13 crore," said a senior Northern Railway official.

The new station building is a fusion of the old and new with its existing heritage structure being merged with a modern one.
