This marked an increase of Rs 140.83 crore over the Rs 386.11 crore revenue during the corresponding period in 2013-14 fiscal, Divisional Railway Manager A K Rastogi said at the Republic Day celebrations here today.

He said the divsion had spent around Rs.six crores for passenger amenity works at various stations during the year.
Lifts and escalators would be provided in Tirunelveli, Dindigul, and Madurai Junction for the convenience of passengers.
