Kumbh Mela: Railways to run unreserved trains from Nashik Road

To clear extra rush of passengers for the ongoing Kumbh Mela being celebrated at Nashik, the Central Railway (CR) has decided to run daily unreserved special trains with 18 general second class coaches, between Nasik Road to Bhusaval and Itarsi.

MUMBAI: To clear extra rush of passengers for the ongoing Kumbh Mela being celebrated at Nashik, the Central Railway (CR) has decided to run daily unreserved special trains with 18 general second class coaches, between Nasik Road to Bhusaval and Itarsi.

Train no 01239 special daily will leave Nasik Road at 8.25 PM on daily basis from today to September 30 and will arrive at Bhusaval at 12.50 midnight, CR said in a statement today.

Train no 01240 Special will leave Bhusaval at 2.10 PM daily from today to September 30 and will arrive Nasik Road at 9.10 PM same day.

Similarly, train no 01241 special daily will leave Nasik Road at 09.10 AM on daily basis from today to September 30 and will arrive at Bhusaval at 7.10 PM same day, it said.

Train no 01242 Special will leave Bhusaval at 03.05 am on daily basis from today to September 30 and will arrive at Nasik Road at 08.10 am same day, it added.

Both the trains will halt at Odha, Niphad, Lasalgaon, Manmad, Nandgaon, Chalisgaon, Pachora and Jalgaon stations.

The statement further said that 01249 Special will leave Nasik Road at 9.50 pm Daily from July 25 to September 30 and will arrive at Itarsi at 7.00 am hrs next day.

Train no 01250 Special will leave Itarsi at 08.20 am daily from July 26 to October 1 and will arrive Nasik Road at 7.10 pm same day.

These trains would halt at Odha, Lasalgaon, Manmad, Nandgaon, Chalisgaon, Pachora, Jalgaon, Bhusaval, Burhanpur, Nepanagar, Khandwa, Khirkiya and Harda stations.
