MUMBAI: Kernex Microsystems India on Wednesday said the anti-collision device project under technology partnership with Konkan Railways had been completed.
The company, a key manufacturer of ACD and safety systems, anticipates a larger role with the Indian Railways in major projects in the next financial year.
Railway Minister Lalu Prasad, presenting the Railway Budget Tuesday, had announced that the ACD project will be extended to cover entire Indian Railway network in a phased manner and in the next two years.
The ACD system will be installed and commissioned in Southern, South Central and South Western Railways.
