Jassidih-Dumka passenger train flagged off

DEOGARH/DUMKA, JHARKHAND: The first passenger train between Deogarh district's Jassidih to Dumka was flagged off at Jassidih today.

Eastern Railway General Manager B Barthua flagged off the train, barely a week before the famous month-long 'Sawan mela' begins in Deogarh.

The train route will help devotees to reach Dumka during the auspicious month to pay obeisance at Basukinath temple after offering prayers at the world famous Baijanth dham temple in Deogarh.
