How to use IRCTC's 'book now, pay later' service

IRCTC has introduced its 'book now and pay later' sometime back. Under this, one can book a ticket through IRCTC even without paying anything at the time of booking.

Of course, you have to pay for the booked tickets later. The benefit of this is that you will not have to face any payment gateway failures at the time of payment.

So here's how you can book.


Step 1

Log in to your IRCTC account.

Step 2

Enter the journey details

Step 3

In payment page, choose Pay Later option.


Step 4

You will then be redirected to ePayLater's website. Login to your ePayLater account and confirm the booking amount.

Remember you have to pay the charges within 14 days post which you have to pay interest as well. Also, currently ePayLater is offering bookings at zero percent transaction fee.
