Harjeet Kumar Jaggi becomes GM of Eastern Railway

A 1978 batch officer of Indian Railway Service of Civil Engineering, he graduated from Delhi College of Engineering in 1978.

KOLKATA: Harjeet Kumar Jaggi has taken over as the new general manager, Eastern Railway, Kolkata, with effect from July 14, 2016.

He will hold the post in addition to being the general manager Northeast Frontier Railway (Construction). Prior to his new position, he had also worked as general manager of Northeast Frontier Railway, Guwahati.

Jaggi has held several important positions in the Ministry of Railways as secretary, railway board, CAO (Con), Northern Railway, principal chief engineer, North-Western Railway, divisional railway manager, Ambala, chief bridge engineer, Northern Railway, Western Railway and also worked in the Railway Coach Factory, Kapurthala.
