Ganga Ram Agarwal appointed new Railway Board Secretary

Ganga Ram Agarwal, a senior railway official, has been appointed as the new Secretary of Railway Board.

NEW DELHI: Ganga Ram Agarwal, a senior railway official, has been appointed as the new Secretary of Railway Board.

Agarwal's predecessor PC Gajbhiye attained the age of superannuation today, according to a Railway Ministry release.

An officer of Indian Railway Services of Electrical Engineering (IRSEE), Agarwal was working as Chief Electrical Engineer in Central Railway prior to this posting.

New Secretary has worked in different capacities in railways and has wide experience of handling suburban operation as also handling major projects including completion of DC to AC conversion of critical section up to Mumbai CST.
