Fog continues to play havoc in Rajasthan, 31 trains running late

JAIPUR: Dense fog continued to disrupt normal life in most parts of Rajasthan for the third consecutive day today as poor visibility affected movement of traffic on the highways and many trains had to be rescheduled.

31 trains were running late and six were rescheduled due to heavy fog today.

Bikaner was the coldest place in the desert state with a low of 4.5 degrees Celsius followed by Jaisalmer and Sriganganagar where the night temperature was identical 7.2 degrees C.

People in Churu and Dabok shivered at 7.5 degrees C whereas Barmer, Jodhpur, Ajmer and Jaipur recorded a minimum of 8.4, 8.5, 8.6 and 9 degrees Celsius, according to MeT.
