Delhi Metro services disrupted due to "technical" problems

NEW DELHI: Delhi Metro services were again hit on Tuesday, the second time in the last five days on the Dwarka Sec 21 to Noida City Centre Blue line due to "technical" problems.

"Due to technical problem between Karol Bagh and R K Ashram stations, train services are being run in 3 loops on Line 3," a DMRC official said.

Trains between Karol Bagh to Dwarka-21 and Barakhamba to Noida/Vaishali are being run on short loop while trains between Karol Bagh and Barakhamba stations are run on single line since 12:40 pm.

"It is not known by when the problem will be sorted, he said, adding hundreds of passengers were delayed due to the problem.

On August 16, trains on the Blue line-Dwarka sec21 to Noida city centre/Vaishali were disrupted due to over head electrification problems.
