Delhi Metro Rail Corporation to conduct training programme on ballastless tracks
The ballastless tech facilitates movement of trains in high speed and requires less maintenance. Most high speed railway networks across the world use it.
"The three-day programme scheduled to be held next month will focus on various aspects of installation and maintenance of such tracks, which are now being used by most Metro systems including Delhi Metro," a DMRC official said.

The training will be given to professionals associated with the construction and maintenance of tracks in rail-based urban transportation systems such as Metro Rail, Suburban Rail and Light Rail.
DMRC's Training Institute situated at Shastri Park is already imparting training to the recruits of all major Metro systems in India including Mumbai, Bangalore, Chennai, Kochi, Hyderabad, Gurgaon and Jaipur.
