Delhi CM Shiela Dixit begins the hunt for Metro Man E Sreedharan's successor

"The procedure to choose a new DMRC chief will start shortly but he will continue to be involved with Delhi in some way," Dikshit said.

New Delhi:Chief minister Sheila Dikshit on Monday said the government will soon set in motion the process to select a successor to DMRC chief E Sreedharan whose extended tenure will come to an end later this year.

"The procedure to choose a new DMRC chief will start shortly but he will continue to be involved with Delhi in some way," Dikshit said.

Earlier, 78-year-old Sreedharan had written to the chief minister requesting her to start the process of selecting his successor at least three months before his retirement in December so that the new appointee had time to understand the organisation and how it functions.
