Covid-19: Platform tickets costlier at over 200 stations

Platform tickets at over 200 railway stations have been increased from Rs. 10 to Rs. 50 to keep people from crowding at stations in view of the Covid-19 outbreak.

NEW DELHI: Platform tickets at over 200 railway stations have been increased from Rs. 10 to Rs. 50 to keep people from crowding at stations in view of the Covid-19 outbreak.

The Central and Western Railways increased the price of platform tickets by up to five times on a number of stations with effect from March 17. The West Central Railways also increased prices of platform tickets in Jabalpur and Bhopal divisions.
