Central Railways to run 64 special trains for festive season
Central Railway will run 64 special trains to clear rush travellers during the forthcoming festive season of Christmas and New Year.
Forty six special trains will run between Dadar and Karwar, beginning December 16 till January 6. The halts will include Ratnagiri, Nandgaon and Madgaon among others.
Eight trains are scheduled to run between Dadar and Ernakulum, beginning December 15 to January 9. Madgaon, Karwar, Ambola, Tellicherry, Mahe, Tirur and Trichur will be major stops among others.
Ten special trains will run between Dadar and Kochuveli from December 10 to January 12. The halts on this route will be Kudal, Honnavar, Bhatkal, Udipi, Alwaye and Kollam.
Reservations for these trains will begin on December 10, a release said here today.
