25 wagons of a freight train derailed between Bhadohi and Modh railway stations due to damaged coupling, disrupting rail traffic on Lucknow- Allahabad route.

BHADOHI: 25 wagons of a freight train derailed between Bhadohi and Modh railway stations today due to damaged coupling, disrupting rail traffic on Lucknow- Allahabad route, officials said.

No one was injured in the incident.

"25 wagons of the freight train derailed when its coupling got damaged between Bhadohi and Modh railway stations this afternoon," Station Master Ahmad Ali said.

Rail traffic was disrupted on Lucknow-Allahabad route and around a dozen trains have been diverted, Ali said, adding the officers have reached the spot and efforts were being made to clear the route.
