2 bogies of goods train derail near Ambala Cantt
The rail traffic on Ambala-Ludhiana section got disrupted when two bogies of a Ludhiana-bound goods train today derailed near Ambala Cantt railway station.
Two bogies of the vacant goods train, comprising 18 wagons, got derailed when it was crossing outer signals of the railway station, DRM of Northern Railways Ambala, Dinesh Kumar said.
After half an hour the traffic on the rail section was restored, railway officials said.
Kumar, who was present at the site along with the mechanical staff, was supervising the restoration operation.
One of the bogies was brought back to the track by noon and the DRM said, "both the bogies would be put back on the track by evening.
