Nitin Gadkari launches Mukhyamantri Sugam Parivahan Bus service, PM E-Bus Sewa in MP

Bhopal, Union Minister for Road Transport and Highways Nitin Gadkari and Chief Minister Mohan Yadav inaugurated the Mukhyamantri Sugam Parivahan Bus service and PM E-Bus Sewa in Madhya Pradesh on Friday.

With this launch on the birth anniversary of Bharatiya Jana Sangh founding member Pandit Deendayal Upadhyaya, people in MP now have access to a state-run bus service after 21 years, said officials.

State Transport Minister Uday Pratap Singh said 351 buses will operate under a public-private partnership (PPP) model as part of the Mukhyamantri Sugam Parivahan Seva.

These buses are being flagged off from seven cities with the aim of providing citizens with accessible, safe, modern and environmentally friendly transportation, the minister said.

The seven cities are Indore, Bhopal, Jabalpur, Rewa, Dewas, Katni, and Bhind. This service will strengthen bus connectivity between urban and rural areas, he said.
