DTDC Express elevates Abhishek Chakraborty to the role of CEO

Express logistics company DTDC Express has elevated Abhishek Chakraborty to the role of chief executive with effect from April 3, said a statement issued on Tuesday.

In his new role, Chakraborty will be responsible for leveraging advanced technologies, driving collaborations, and driving growth and innovation for the company.

Before assuming the role of CEO, Chakraborty led the firm as executive director for 15 years. He also played a role in establishing a strategic partnership between DTDC and Geopost (owned by La Poste). He also spearheaded the DTDC and Amarex partnership. He has also been responsible for introducing initiatives such as the MyDTDC app and DTDCShipAssure, the company’s money-back guarantee service.


The company has more than 16,000 exclusive channel partners that contribute to its sales and service capabilities.
