CRSPL & IIT Roorkee would engage in collaborative research on Non Linear Ropeway System
A major focus of the collaboration will be the evaluation and further development of CURVO, theNon-Linear ropeway technology developed by CRSPL that can negotiate curves and bends without detachment from the rope at line speed, unlike conventional ropeways that operate in a straight alignment. CURVO is designed to negotiate the curves and bends, along the road routes making it particularly suitable for urban transportation corridors. Also Read: India, Russia sign MoU to set up UAV & satellite lab
