Apollo Logisolutions in logistics pact with PIL

The memorandum of agreement will enhance logistic service relating to container freight station, inland container depot, freight forwarding, custom brokerage

NEW DELHI: Apollo Logisolutions has entered into a pact with Pacific International Lines (PIL) to explore logistics opportunities in India.

The first MoU between Apollo Logisolutions (ALS) and PIL is for mutual cooperation in container freight station & allied services whereas the second between ALS and Singamas (a subsidiary of PIL) is to jointly pursue transportation of specialised liquids in India, the company said in a statement.

The memorandum of agreement will enhance logistic service relating to container freight station, inland container depot, freight forwarding, custom brokerage, warehousing and allied services, it said.

Raaja Kanwar, MD, ALS, said, "... we aim to drive synergies across verticals through this partnership to provide optimum solution to the industry."

PIL MD S S Teo said: "... through this partnership, ALS, PIL and Singamas will be able to exchange the state-of-the-art technologies and expertise which will benefit all the companies in this sector."
