Vistara to increase fleet size to 20 by 2018

Vistara, a joint venture between Tata Sons and Singapore Airlines, on Sunday said its fleet size will be increased to 20 by 2018, from five at present.

NEW DELHI: Vistara, a joint venture between Tata Sons and Singapore Airlines, on Sunday said its fleet size will be increased to 20 by 2018, from five at present. Phee Teik Yeoh, CEO, Vistara (Tata SIA) Airlines Ltd also said the aviation industry in India is facing challenges such as high fuel cost and a high tax regime. "By April, we will have six aircrafts and gradually increase to 9 by the end of this calendar year," Yeoh said.
