Vistara launches Valentine's Day offer with base fares starting at Rs 999

NEW DELHI: In a first discount offering by Vistara, the airline has launched a Valentine’s Day offer that offers base fares starting from Rs 999 but surcharges extra.

The airline announced it on Twitter and said that the discounts tickets can be booked on the airline’s website between February 12, 2016 and February 14, 2016. The travel period for the discounted fares will be between February 15, 2016 and April 15, 2016.

This will be the first discount offering by Vistara - a Tata Group and Singapore International Airlines promoted airline. The premium airline, which claims to work with a motto of best-ever premium flying experience, has stayed away from any discounts till now.

The airline, which was struggling to fill its planes since its launch has been reporting steady improvement in the number of passengers per flight and reported highest-ever load factors 77.6 per cent per flight during the month of December last year.
