Vistara announces discount; offers fares as low as Rs 999 all-inclusive

NEW DELHI: Vistara today announced a "Celebration Sale" for being voted as 'India's Best Domestic Airline 2016' by the readers of Travel + Leisure India magazine.

"The Sale invites travellers to experience 'flying the new feeling' with Vistara in the happy month of December and into 2017 with all-inclusive fares starting at just Rs 999," said a release from the airline.

Travellers can book tickets between Wednesday, November 23, 2016, and midnight of Friday November 25, 2016, for travel between December 5, 2016, and October 1, 2017, added the release.

Vistara launches the sale a day after SpiceJet launched a Rs 737 sale that was followed by sale by other low-cost carriers.

Furthermore, cash bookings using INR 500 and INR 1,000 rupee notes will be accepted at Vistara's airport ticket counters until midnight of Thursday, 24 November 2016, the release added.
