Technical snag delays SpiceJet flights

MUMBAI: Budget airline SpiceJet suffered a snag in its IT systems on Friday evening that delayed several flights.

Sources confirmed that five flights were delayed by a few hours from the delhi airport due to the inability of the airline to generate the 'despatch sheet' and hand it over to their pilots in time.

When asked what technical snag had taken place, the airline CEO Neil Mills informed ET, "This affected the call centre only, no flights and is now resolved."
