SpiceJet to fly Kolkata-Port Blair

NEW DELHI: Low-cost carrier SpiceJet on Monday said it will soon start direct flights between Kolkata and Port Blair.

The carrier on Monday resumed its Kolkata-Delhi direct flights also connected connecting Kolkata-Bangalore through one daily flight, SpiceJet said in a statement.

"We have decided to start our services to Port Blaor looking at the large chunk of travellers and also to hive-off exisiting limited scope of travel modes available to Port Blair," SpiceJet Chief Commercial Officer Samyukth Sridharan said in the statement.
