SpiceJet offers its flyers chance to win 1 lakh free seats this month

SpiceJet, which is gearing up to face competition from AirAsia India, in its stronghold of Chennai, has been playing price warrior recently.

NEW DELHI: After attempting to stimulate the market with discounts, low-cost carrier SpiceJet will offer its flyers a chance to win a free ticket. As part of an offer for celebrating the month of Valentines, SpiceJet has kept aside 1 lakh free tickets which flyers in February can win through a lucky draw. The winners of the draw will be announced in the first week of March.

SpiceJet, which is gearing up to face competition from AirAsia India, in its stronghold of Chennai, has been playing price warrior recently.

It has also hired former AirAsia man Kaneswaran Avili as chief commercial officer. Avili was responsible for AirAsia's pricing strategies when it launched in Malaysia.
