The airline today said that ‘SpiceOxy – a compact, portable, non-invasive ventilation device, which is an effective solution for patients with mild to moderate breathing issues. Additionally, SpiceJet has also introduced fingertip pulse oximeter, a handy device making it easier for people to measure the oxygen level of the blood.’
The airline also said that the product has been designed and built in-house and can be purchased online at SpiceJet’s e-commerce website - www.spicestyle.com.

I am sure that these non-invasive, portable ventilators will greatly help patients with breathing issues and other chronic problems and can be easily used at home and taken along during travel. SpiceJet will continue to foster innovation to address challenges and offer solutions,” SpiceJet Chairman and Managing Director was quoted in the release.
The airline, which is struggling with decline in revenues as COVID has impacted travel, is carrying out various other initiatives like launching international charter flights and cargo flights on aircraft taken on wet lease.
These have helped airline increase its revenues but the airline continues to be under financial stress.
