SpiceJet clocks highest on time performance, occupancy

MUMBAI: SpiceJet on Friday said it clocked the highest on time performance figures in January, topping the industry for the fourth consecutive month.

"This is the fourth month in a row that the airline has topped the OTP charts. The airline also topped the passenger load factor metrics for the industry at 93.6%," it said in a statement, adding that it has beaten competitors and clocked over 90% flight occupancy for the 22nd month in a row.3

The airline also said it registered one of the lowest industry cancellations.

SpiceJet, which operates on an average 343 daily flights, carried almost 12.29 lakh passengers during the month of January 2017.
