SpiceJet announces non-stop flights to Ayodhya from Chennai, Bengaluru & Mumbai from Feb 1

It is to be noted that the airline, last week, had also declared to operate a special flight from Delhi to Ayodhya on January 21, 2024 on the occasion of ʹPran Pratishtaʹ ceremony at the Ram Mandir scheduled for January 22. A return flight will also operate on the same day.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated the Maharishi Valmiki International Airport in Ayodhya on December 30.
SpiceJet aims to commence services from Ayodhya to several Indian cities and has denoted the move as part of its efforts to strengthen its network.

Last week, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath said that nearly 100 chartered flights are expected at the Ayodhya airport for the consecration ceremony on January 22.
Further, new flights connecting Mumbai with Srinagar, Chennai with Jaipur, and Bengaluru with Varanasi have also been announced by SpiceJet beginning February 1.
