Singapore Airlines to operate 2 more flights from Mumbai

Singapore Airlines said it will operate two more flights every week on the Mumbai-Singapore sector, taking the number of flights between the two cities to 19, from March 25.

MUMBAI: Singapore Airlines on Wednesday said it will operate two more flights every week on the Mumbai-Singapore sector, taking the number of flights between the two cities to 19, from March 25.

"To celebrate the increased services, the airline is offering two special all-inclusive fares to Singapore - at Rs 17,000 each for two travellers and at Rs 19,000 for an individual. The special fares will be on sale till February 29 for departures from Mumbai by April 10," the airline said in a statement.

Announcing the offer, Singapore Airlines General Manager for India G M Toh said, "The increased services is only possible due to the strong support of our customers here. The special fare is an acknowledgement of the same."

Singapore Airlines, which entered the country in 1970, operates 51 flights a week connecting six Indian cities with the Lion's City, while its subsidiary SilkAir has 33 weekly flights from seven cities in the country to Singapore.
