Seth named member of BA advisory board
Suhel Seth, managing partner, Counselage India, has been nominated as a member of British Airways’ .
The board came into being in the beginning of this year and will meet five times a year to give unbiased views on BA for the airline’s improvement. The board members are all frequent flyers and represent a broad, cross-section of BA’s customers – a mix of long-haul, short-haul, business and leisure passengers.
The members will sit on the board for around three years and will be invited to give their views on service levels, key innovations, and, in some cases, even take part in trials. “To me, this is a huge recognition by British Airways of the Indian market,” says Mr Seth, who along with David Tang of Shanghai Tang, are the only APAC members on the board.
The board is headed by Lady Barbara Judge, chairperson of the UK Atomic Energy Commission and the School of Oriental and African Studies. According to Mr Seth, he has been nominated for a period of three years. The group met for the first time on September 17 at Waterside, London.
