Scandron on Monday said it has received Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) Type Certification for its Agri-Drone model, SNDAG010QX8. This certification supports Scandron's efforts to improve the Indian agricultural sector with drone technology.

The SNDAG010QX8 drone, certified under Type Certificate No. T0724000001Z, is a rotorcraft for agricultural use. It is designed for tasks such as spraying fertilizers and pesticides, crop surveillance, field monitoring, and livestock management. This certification enables Scandron Private Limited to offer solutions that support sustainable farming practices and improve crop yields.

Magellanic Cloud's role in the Agri-Drone market is strengthened by this certification. Through Scandron Private Limited, Magellanic Cloud aims to support the Government's Make in India initiative by reducing dependency on foreign technology and components.
