Air Sahara tonight said it would sack two of its air hostesses who were involved in a security breach at the official residence of Prime Minister Manmohan Singh.
NEW DELHI: Air Sahara tonight said it would sack two of its air hostesses who were involved in a security breach at the official residence of Prime Minister Manmohan Singh.
Air Sahara President Alok Sharma said that the two hostesses were recent recruits and has been grounded for the last two months on charges of indiscipline and absenteeism.
The termination of their services was already in the process and it would be executed after today’s incident, he added.
Meanwhile, the three youngsters were granted bail today. After being booked under charges of criminal trespass and impersonation, the trio — Yogita, Bina and Imran — were granted bail on a personal bond of Rs 25,000 each and a surety of like amount.
“We had received a call about intrusion into the Prime Minister’s residence last night after which we detained and interrogated three youngsters. Subsequently, we arrested them earlier in the day for using another name to gain entry into the high-security residence,” DCP (New Delhi) Anand Mohan said here. All the accused were released on bail and investigation into the case was on, he said.
Mr Mohan said the vehicle was owned by Yogita, who purchased it three months back.
