Qatar airways flight hits aerobridge, none hurt

KOCHI: A Qatar airways Doha-Kochi-Doha flight was grounded today after cowling of the engine suffered some damage as it hit an aerobridge while moving towards parking bay shortly after it arrived here with 234 passengers early today.

None of the passengers was injured. Airport sources said 206 passengers had taken tickets from here for Doha.

Most of them have been sent by other flights and few remaining have been accommodated in hotels.

Airport sources said the technicians of the Qatar airways were expected to reach here tonight to rectify the damage.
