Private plane skids off runway

INDORE: A private plane with ten persons on board skidded off the runway at the airport here and hit a wall, disrupting air traffic for some time, airport officials said on Tuesday.

However, no one was injured in the incident that happened late last night.

After a safe landing, the aircraft was moving towards the parking area when it skidded off and hit a boundary wall near the Flying Club, officials said.

The runway was wet due to unseasonal rains that lashed the city last night, they said adding the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) has ordered a probe into the incident, they added.
