Morphine found in food trolley in Air India flight

MUMBAI: Nearly 2 kilograms of a morphine mixture was found in a food trolley while it was being wheeled out of an Air India flight on Thursday.

A supervisor found two packets wrapped in black tape beneath catering cutlery, after the fight AI 440 arrived in Delhi from Chennai.

The matter was informed to officials at the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB), a spokesman at the airline said.
