MDLR Airlines to start scheduled air operations soon

Domestic carrier MDLR Airlines on Thursday said it will start its scheduled operations in the northern region soon.

NEW DELHI: Domestic carrier MDLR Airlines on Thursday said it will start its scheduled operations in the northern region soon.

"The company has been issued the 'Scheduled Operators Permit' by the government yesterday. We will finalise our schedule within couple of days to start operations," MDLR Airlines Chief Executive Officer Anil Goyal told the media.

The company has been operating non-schedule air services in the country from last one year.

The company plans to commence operations in the northern region with its base in Delhi.

The routes being planned include Delhi-Chandigarh, Delhi-Lucknow, Delhi-Amritsar, Delhi-Srinagar, Delhi -Gorakhpur, Delhi-Allahabad, he said.

"MDLR Airlines currently has fleet of three BAe regional Jet Aircraft. We are planning to add new generation aircrafts and are in negotiation with several aircraft manufacturers," he added.

MDLR Airlines has been promoted by real estate player Gopal Goyal, who heads the MDLR Group.
