Malaysia Airlines, the national carrier of Malaysia, on Tuesday launched its new value-for-money promotional deal targeting the business class travellers.
BANGALORE: Malaysia Airlines, the national carrier of Malaysia, on Tuesday launched its new value-for-money promotional deal targeting the business class travellers.
On the purchase of one business class ticket, the traveller could avail a waiver of 80 per cent on next business ticket to Kuala Lumpur and Singapore. This new tactical airfare is valid for travel till November 15.
The promotional airfare is aligned with Malaysia Airlines current flight enhancement from Bangalore.
Catering to the economy class passengers, the airlines is offering a special introductory fare for its first additional flight from Bangalore, Christopher Yek Hua Hong, Regional Manager, South Asia, Malaysian Airlines said during a roadshow here to announce the new additional flight from the IT city.
The airline will now operate four weekly flights from Bangalore from November 3. The additional flight will depart from Bangalore at 10 pm, every Saturday. The late night timing was the only available slot currently.
"Bangalore is emerging as the prominent international gateway for Malaysia Airlines-India operations especially beyond Kuala Lumpur routes. Our load factor from Bangalore has increased by 10 per cent compared to last year", he said.
With the increase of flights from both Bangalore and Chennai, the airlines will now operate 30 weekly flights from its present five gateways in India.
