Maini signs MoU with Assystem at Aero India 2013 to offer wider range of aerospace services

BANGALORE: Maini Precision Products (MPP) and international engineering consultancy Assystem today signed an MoU to offer a wider range of aerospace services to the Indian market.

Assystem's long experience in setting up assembly and/or manufacturing processes would be greatly complemented by MPP's expertise in design, manufacturing, delivery and testing services on parts and tools, officials of the two companies said.

The MoU, signed at Aero India 2013 here, is intended towards leading to an enlarged collaboration aimed at supporting European OEMs (civil and defence) while increasing their international footprint.

"Alongside Assystem, MPP will thus provide valuable offset opportunities in India and offer a robust and comprehensive support solution addressing global markets," the two companies said.

The MoU was signed by Dominique Louis, Chairman, Assystem and David Bradley, Head of SBU Aerospace from Assystem and Gautam Maini, Executive Director, Maini Group and Naresh Palta, Chief Executive Officer, Maini Global Aerospace.

Both companies believe that their collective customers are looking for global end-to-end solutions right from design to manufacturing, and both parties, with their complementary strengths, would allow this collaboration to deliver added value.
