Jet to fly Chennai-Brussels-Newark flight
Jet Airways will introduce Chennai-Brussels-Newark flight from November 5.
Recently, the airline built Brussels as a hub to connect cities in India with that of North America. At Brussels, flights will be synchronised in order to provide passengers seamless transfer access between Delhi, Newark, Mumbai and Toronto, Gaurang Shetty, Vice President-Marketing told a press conference here on Tuesday.
Shetty said the airline's Delhi-Toronto service via Brussels is slated to commence from this September 5.
The company had placed an order for 20 wide-bodied aircraft and as the delivery is being made, services to Shanghai, San Francisco would be introduced, he said.
"We also will look at services from Mumbai-Johannesburg three times a week," Shetty said.
Shetty said Jet had spent about $300-400 million for refurbishing the entire interiors and new seating arrangements for its economy, premium and first class services on their flights.
