MUMBAI: Private carrier Jet Airways on Friday said it has tied up with Brussels Airport to build a lounge there to enable its first class and premier passengers to spend their transit time at the airport.
The company's lounge would be in line with the company's standards of service and hospitality, the airline informed the Bombay Stock Exchange.
"The Jet Airways lounge is arguably one of the finest in the world. No effort has been spared to give our passengers facilities and comfort in a luxurious setting," Chairmen Jet Airways Naresh Goyal said in the filing.
The lounge would have room for 18 first class and 59 premiere passengers. A reception hall would divide the open lounge into two large sections one for the first class passengers and a larger section for premier travellers.
The lounge would have internet connectivity, television, reading rooms and business area, the company added.
The company on Friday also appointed Captain Hameed Ali as the Executive Vice-President (Operations and Engineering), the airline added.
