NEW DELHI: Strengthening its arrangements with global airlines, Jet Airways on Friday said it has entered into a reciprocal flyer programme alliance with Swiss International Airlines that will allow frequent flyers on both the airlines to earn and redeem miles.

The Indian private carrier has already entered into different kinds of tie-ups with several foreign airlines, including codeshare arrangements.

Under its agreement with Swiss which comes into effect on Saturday, the Jet Privilege (frequent flyer programme) members would be able to accrue and redeem JPMiles on all Swiss operated flights.

The partnership would also allow members of Lufthansa's 'Miles and More' members to earn and burn miles of Jet, the private carrier informed the Bombay Stock Exchange.

The new arrangement would allow frequent flyers of both airlines to earn miles on Jet's 48 domestic and international destinations and 69 of the Swiss.
